First Aid Course !BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! HealthTec are offering Year 12 and 13 learners the opportunity to take part in a 6 week First Aid course presented by a registered first aid trainer. The course will cover: Resusitation and Recovery Position Bleeding Broken Bones Shock Choking Diabetes Epilepsy Heart Attacks and Strokes Poisoning. There is a written test on week 6 and also a practical test doing CPR and the recovery position: you must pass this to get a certificate.

| Wolverhampton Intergenerational Group Following a successful lottery bid Wolverhampton Intergenerational Group are organising a new project.
We are looking for schools and youth groups who would be interested in taking part. The project will feature storytelling with young people receiving interview skills training and the opportunity to work with older people to collect and research their work life stories which will then be included in a book of work memories.
A small group of young people will also have the opportunity to undertake media training alongside older people to produce a DVD recording some of the stories and to film the premises which were used for industry and what they are used for now.
