As part of the GCSE based Asdan award, Personal and Social Development, the group were asked to choose a project. The group chose cultural dance and put in a bid to Youth Bank to cover the costs of a Bhangra teacher.

Learners took part in dance workshops over four weeks, where they prepared to perform at a community event in Bantock Park in June. The group performed three times on the day. The first performance was in front of the mayor of Wolverhampton.
