You will learn why key values, principles, laws and codes of practice are so important to the four sectors. Communication and partnership working. You will learn why communication, information sharing and partnership working are so important in the sectors. Safeguarding and protecting individuals. You will investigate the importance of responsibility for personal health, safety and security in the sectors. You will learn to understand risk assessments. Growth, development and lifestyles. You will learn how human growth and development and the health, wellbeing and lifestyle of individuals effects the services offered by the sectors. Addressing need. You will find out how services make assessments and take into account the needs and preferences of people in order to deliver the right support. You will learn how services are planned before they are offered to people and reviewed in case changes are needed. Anti-social offending behaviour. You will look at the causes and impact of anti-social offending behaviour. You will investigate the work of the community justice sector. Supporting children and young people. You will be explore the range of childrens services available to support children and young people. You will learn the importance of patient centred care in the health sector through an investigation of how common health conditions are supported. The social model of disability. You will be introduced to the social model of disability through an examination of its aims, objectives and meaning.
